Those sealey supermigs come with a very basic and inaccurate regulator. I used to set mine to 10 lpm on the dial but when I swapped to to a BOC regulator & a flow meter I was surprised how much more flow I was getting at the nozzle for the same setting on the flow meter.

Has yours got 1 or 2 gauges?

It has 2 gauges but they are unreadable it will do until I get my migatronic back from the repair shop

unbelievable, even if the DTI doesn't work coz its seized up, the stand and magnetic base would be fine.
you don't throw things like that away.

Today I picked up a 2.5m length of 5 1/2 inch diameter pipe to use as a flue for log burners. Only paid a fiver from the local scrappy, well happy!

It's a dial test indicator, on a switchable magnetic base. Invaluable for example for checking runout on a flywheel/ It has many uses. The magnetic base on its own is useful, you can mount a scribe on it for example and use it to do the same thing, albeit without such accuracy, but fine for example for truing a bike wheel. It certainly doesn't belong in a skip, the base alone is probably worth £20!

just out of interest, they look to have been originally designed to work the opposite way round to a shelf bracket say or is it i cant see all the holes.
the three holes at the top ( or bottom ) of the bracket there looks like it was designed more for a pull then a push, mind you having 3 anchors that close together wouldn't be a big pile of good anyways but i say the man that first put them up went through the wall.

the old school wolf gear was damn good stuff in fairness, there is a wolf drill here and id be pretty sure if i put a new lead on it would go, id say its a good 50yrs old at this stage.
