Not been to collect it yet but iv got a 10kw mercury arc rectifier just need to find a good way to move it safely its in a big cabanit with a right stonker of a transformer. So i was thinking of takeing it out of the cabanit and building a wooden packing crate and surspending it in the crate.
Not to shure what im going to do with yet but cant wait to get it fierd up.

Im asumeing it take 10kw but may be 10kw out dont no how efficient it is.
It is a bit obsolet now a lump of silicon the size of a fag box will do the same job but dosnt look as nice.
It makes dc voltage usualy to control a lift motor or any think that needed a vairable speed thay were also used for carbon arc lamps in cinimas.

Actually are you sure its an endoscope and not a colonscope @Maker ?

I thought it was actually a bronchoscope, but not sure really. It's got two fibre optic lights in the end. It's a Fujinon EB-470T if you're interested, they're bloody expensive on eBay but not selling unfortunately.

I would hope they aren't...given that the NHS is cash strapped...kinda worrying if people are chucking out current and working kit so recklessly...

It's all coming from a EBME's storeroom massive shed, it's all stuff that hasn't been used for years or is broken, I don't think anyone really knows what's in there anyway.

Today I acquired a faulty 8" Clarke bench grinder with a good condition wire wheel. The switch is knackered but shouldn't be any problem to replace.
And a 18" piece of rail track to use as an Anvil.

£10 for both.
