I got a 22000 RPM motor and variable speed foot switch (Which is quite interesting inside, I'll post more pictures later). There's a label that says "Dermabrasion", so some kind of skin grinder.

High speed leather[?]sanding disk and salt if I remember rightly.
I had a skin graft on my wrist and a few months after the graft a
nurse sanded my wrist down.

Just noticed it was made by Downs, Maurice Down was a friend of my dad.

Just noticed the on super mig the torch assembly has only one lead to the trigger does that mean the chassis is the return?.

View attachment 78166 Got gifted a Sealey Supermig 180/1 complete in working order, its been lying in a paint shop for 20 odd year done about 12Hrs work from new. I was thinking of using it as a back up. The torch and wire feed look a bit flimsy, I have a spare euro torch assembly, would it be worth (If it could)converting it.

I have one of those only mine has no timer. Mine was fitted with a plastic torch liner and a swap to a steel liner sorted out a wire feed problem so a swap to a euro torch would be a good idea. There are guides on how to do this, I think maybe on this forum.
Another mod I made was to fit a heavier more flexible earth lead & a decent earth clip.
They're a decent welder, probably not up professional daily use but for hobby use or a backup they're ok.
BTW They don't take a full size 15kg roll of wire, max is 5kg!

One of the department's (EBME) where dad works was having a clear out so he grabbed some stuff before the scrap man came (He did have permission BTW).

It wasn't thrown out as biohazardous waste and it didn't come from hematology so it should be safe. There was a much bigger one too, about 3 feet long but it was too heavy for him to put to one side so it got scrapped.

The tip can be remotely maneuvered, should make a really nice boroscope. It doesn't look like it's ever been used. View attachment 78183

That electrical safety tester looks like a PAT tester and is an expensive piece of kit. Does it print labels as well? We had one of those where I worked and 2 of the guys had to go on a tough training course to qualify them to use it.

It doesn't print them, there's a load of blank labels and a pen in the box. It's also 8 years out of calibration.

I'd imagine it's fall into the same category as the Segway in this country, illegal for road and pavement use. Nice legs 'though - and no, we don't want any mankini-type shots of you on yours.

Thanks for the info Turbo, this one has a 15kg already in it+ an adaptor to take something with a bigger bore.

Not been to collect it yet but iv got a 10kw mercury arc rectifier just need to find a good way to move it safely its in a big cabanit with a right stonker of a transformer. So i was thinking of takeing it out of the cabanit and building a wooden packing crate and surspending it in the crate.
Not to shure what im going to do with yet but cant wait to get it fierd up.
