I suspect the large sledge hammer is for moving things like train rails a smidge swing it back and forth would be easy for two but over the head can't see it myself

It is only used by one person but is designed with the two handles so that it can be used by either a left handed or a right handed person

Tonight I acquired a telephone - an iPhone 8 Plus to be precise. It’s not mine, I just saw it sitting on the street all alone, so I picked it up and decided to take it to the cop shop.
Halfway there, the thing starts buzzing. I answer, owner is frantic, so I meet up. Turns out the thing is two weeks old! The guy was an investment banker or insurance salesman, and in a big group of similar types, not really my crowd in all honesty! But they shouted me a free meal at McDonalds which was right by where we stood and that’s fine with me. I was called a legend, one of the last good guys etc. I agree with those statements!! So it feels nice to be nice. Now I’m at home drinking tinned beer, life is indeed very good all round

Well done on getting it back to him, they can now bother each other instead of 'proper' people.
Seriously, he may have had stuff on it which could have cost him either lots of money or even his job.

Had a Milwaukee bit set turn up today with 12" and 6" extension bars, I looked at it last week in screwfix and it was £40 for just the bit set but i spotted it on FFX for £23 so i had the extension bars as a reward for being a clever shopper and still only came to £37.

A few weeks ago, 1st Nov I acquired this old Stanley Drill.
For £1 it was worth it for the fun.
Something to restore and bring it back to being usefull.
But this was the most noticeable damage. Not a strength baring part.
So a cheep repair.
Build up a wall with thin metal, 7 Up can and fill with metal loaded filler.
The paint, in this case VW orange.
During the clean up it was found the upper frame was cracked, a simple braze repair.
Strip the varnish and stain of the wooden handles, re stain and varnish. In this case, satin.
I have to leave it for a few days before waxing.
This is all but done, just wax to finish. The action is smooth and the chuck is fully working.
Thanks to Stanley for their advice on the colour.

A small Woden vice.
It looked sad and unloved.
For another friend. He asked, he will receive.
Rawplug Tin, with bits, all sharp and will go to hold by other bits.
Why not, a baby spanner.
Brass Old style fire extinguishers. Yes it is full. Need to dispose of the contents.
A few odd bits.
No I will not disclose the price for the bits. But any one can ask in PM and I will tell, how much and were.

The saw is going north of the Watford gap @Parm Pm your addy.
The Brass fire extinguisher was still charged with " Ox Blood" fire suppression liquid. @daleyd Were are the bucket of sunshine lot?

Plus the box rule in this picture.
Is not a normal ruler. NO crown.
Well almost no crown, it has a broad arrow mark.
It is a Rope Ruler to measure rope and cordage.
