Today I acquired...........

[Spark plug]

that wasnt cheap, but a nice addition.
ive been keeping my eye on them ,there isnt too many that go for handy money.
have you a job for it or just a feather in the cap.

I picked up all the bits seperate, worked out a lot cheeper than a complete unit. Ile be useing it for long slots and key ways to start with but I'm already getting ideas for other jobs for it.

To be honest not really. I can print but I am not a graphic artist.

I could probably identify the font and sort that but the picture of the head is way out of my depth.

Perhaps some lads on here are more capable so I could get print ready copy I can print to vinyl.??

I can make something up for you could laminate it as well to stop it scratching.

I've isolated Dobbin; the font's all wrong though.

I knew some one clever would come along. I have a laser printer and A4 indoor and outdoor vinyl but lack graphics skills.

I've sorted the font. Sorry i used the dobbin i found elsewhere as could not cut it out. Maybe it was darker originally and faded.

The colour match could be a problem one option would be to cut the letters and circle out and stick them without the red.

Is the original silver? I thought it was white.

I have a printer cutter and laminator from a failed business venture, mainly gets used for projects with the kids. I'd happily run a few of these off.

It looks silver or grey on red in the scan SBF put up, although the dobbin looks black and white.

I cant print metallic silver some solvent printers have the option but its not great think they use thermal transfer printers for that.

I did make some centre caps using a silver vinyl then some doming resin.

That looks pretty good to me as is - I was going to have a go repairing my original in Photoshop but I doubt my skills would make it any better.

@ukracer : Can you go with that in outdoor vinyl, unless @penfold thinks he can find a font match??

No, hadn't seen that - looks spot on for a match now.

Original is silver on red, inc the background for Dobbin, but if that proves undoable I'd happy with white. If you're happy to do a few that'd be great [subject to same payment offer], without detracting from @ukracer's earlier offer to print.
As said before, dimensions are 22cm x 5cm.

Ok changed the white to silver/grey when people say silver i think metallic cant do metallic.

Would it be possible to do one of each? That'd way I'd have the choice of which looked better in situ. I'd not worry about the red matching, as it wasn't exact in the first place and the tank plastic is a bit faded I think.

No problem, the measurements you gave where they from the sticker of the indent in the fuel tank? The original looks like it may have shrunk a bit.
