@dazza Top job!!
If you PM me your details and the costs I'll sort out that end of things.
What a great place this forum is, makes being a part of it so worthwhile.
You've inherited some nice stuff there Slim, cherish them.
Some of the bits look like apprentice made pieces, would they have been made by your Dad?
Johnny Cash sang a song about that; did he bring home an Anglia in his lunch box?No my dad was an apprentice mechanic, it got 3/4 way through his C&G then met my mum, needless to say he didn't finish the course or his apprenticeship, he had to earn better money to raise a family so moved to Doncaster where Fords had opened a plant producing Anglias and worked on the assembly line.
I thought Johnny Cash was the change you get from a condom machine.Johnny Cash sang a song about that; did he bring home an Anglia in his lunch box?
There was a fiddle going on about 25 years ago at a local factory that made French letter vending machines. A couple of employees took enough parts to build them at home & set up their own business supplying the machines & stocking them from their employers stock. The police started an investigation & caught the culprits, the name of the investigation, Johnny Cash.I thought Johnny Cash was the change you get from a condom machine.
Biggest problem with print and cut is its expensive and needs using often....both not good for a home user. I have 5 cutters at home and a laser and 4 A3 printers but still could not do what you did without hours of work. Annoying really.Like i've been told a few times on here having the correct tool for the job helps. Hopefully my new welder will arrive soon and i can crack on and make a better table for the printer. The one i have now wobbles slightly and it affects the print quality in certain areas. (I have OCD).
I do enjoy having the printer in the office but if i could go back in time i would have used the cash for something else.Biggest problem with print and cut is its expensive and needs using often....both not good for a home user. There's no chain on her wonder if it's possible to get a Stihl drive sprocket to fit?404 chain is a bit of a bore; AFAIK it's not available new although there's a few vendors with NOS stuff for sale. If the existing chain can be revived it's worth making an effort to do so.
