Well, they have a proper anvil to start off with...Today I acquired, amongst other stuff such as milling cutters, two of these, a left and a right hand.
Quality seems better than the usual cheap ones from APT or wherever and they feel much better in the hand than them as well. Time will tell if they are good but at £23 plus VAT each I decided to get a couple.

Have a couple of old Stanley doweling jigs.When they're flogging these off for £3 at Lidl, it's hard to resist getting one. I didn't fare well on the willpower front.
