I signed up to Aldi online shopping notifications a few weeks ago
To keep getting notifications of what's due in the stores but you can buy it on line from them before hand then it's despatched on the release day .
Saw something I felt I could use to great benefit for me
Yesterday I received a £ 43 , self contained 240 volt paint sprayer , now I can spray the 24 new fence panels with two coats of long lasting " TOTAL wood preservative " made by Ronseal instead of spending weeks painting them by hand .
The guy I know in the local builders merchants said he sprayed all his fence panels with one coat of it both sides , top & bottom 18 yrs ago & they are still good .
@DAPPH I did set them up last night, seen other posts about chinesium threaded bits but cranked them down and so far so good.
I am going to remake the clamping stud for the QC toolpost tho as not too happy with what was supplied
I guess you're right , though it is for industrial use so might be a lot better than the B&Q sold stuff .it wont be the same stuff as 18 years ago.
Just under £300 including delivery and Vat. Proper positive displacement three element pump with all parts/ seals available. Made by interpump ,a quality bit of kit. Low flow rate of 7,5l per minute @275 bar is ideal for my uses. Also like the fact that it's designedly run at 1450rpm,so it's not revving it's nuts off...what price was the pump
It's got the potential to do what I need it to do. Rather have a 275 bar pump having a relatively easy life running at 150 bar as opposed to a 150bar pump maxed out. It's for hydroforming some parts. You going gold diving Johnny or making a water cutter bed . 4k psi is quite something to play with .
Great bits of kit the Gems,Got a wee rotavator to prepare the ground for the wife's polytunnel. Excuse the flat tyre. It's old but gold. Test strip in the background.
Great bits of kit the Gems,
That particular model always makes me think of the good life.
Had a delve in Pandora's box today - if anyone ever needs a spanner, I'm your man.

The paint covering is very thin, and some was transferring to my gloves as I sorted through them so I suspect I was right about the 'quick blow over'. Anyone ever removed such with citric acid or electrolysis, before I set about this/these processes(s) and waste my time?
Most are Imperial, only spotted a very few Metric among them. At least I'll not be short of claws for my horseshoe crabs......
caustic soda is best for removing paint, ime.
Thanks Paul. I will need to cut em down so I will do the method you described.Thats a piece of euro tooling for use in a pressbrake, if you need to it can be cut quite easily for use in a flypress, only the very tip is hardened so stand it up in the saw and cut all but the last 2 or 3mm then break it off and dress it with a sander, done it many times to use old press tooling in the flypress, the vee block will likely need cutting with a disc though.
