No wire or bottle, but seller will be showing me it working when I collect.

Today I acquired a 200ltr expansion tank. It will be turned into (at the wife request) a Minion wood burner (bit of pipe will be for the eyes).

In my eventual conversion of the Telwin mig to Euro-torch, I needed a torch (I'll get the other parts soon enough) and had a look today at what was on offer. I'd already seen the usual clones of Binzels and had nearly bought one several times, but today this Lorch ML1500 popped up on three-day auction and it was nearly finished with no bids.
Doesn't look used much, new tip and shield and £22 quid. That'll do.
I'm thinking that most of not all of the Binzel MB15 spares fit this, and if it was made for Lorch it would likely be fairly robust.

Todays freebies, some serious spanners and one is Leyland marked, the old bus plant is only a couple of miles up the road so may have come from there, the made in Ohio stilsons have a high quality feel about them, plus a couple of decent quality clamps ( the mug must have been left by a neighbour )

used them for getting studs out rather than the two nut method.Arther

Most things give up when you show it a pair of 24" Stilsons. I don't use them often, but very handy when you need them. They will generally destroy what you are trying to get apart though.

That sound like a man thats never had the pleasure of wrestling a pair of 36" stilsons over head while trying to crack a union on a 3" pipe one in each hand.

I have a pair of 24"? 30"? perhaps stilsons i use for taking valves out of gas cylinders.

They're used for pretty much anything on a farm (or perhaps everything, in the hands of the even more 'agricultural' types!). Water trough pipes, nuts, hammers, straitening things, holding things while tightened the list goes on.
