Should have asked me I know a secret location that has one complete with a birds nest in it.This, although I've been hunting one for quite a while, finally my plans came good.
Thanks for the likes but WTF is it for?
Quite possible it was the earlier civilian market land rover forward control based on the series land rover platform, that had a asthmatic 2.25l 4 cylinder in its base spec and it was rejected by the military as not having enough power/capability to tow the gun platform they wanted to, which is where the 101fc design requirements came from.I remember being unable to get up a small hill on a road near Aldershot in one of those, we had to get out and push, i think it might have been "tired" and due for the scrappy. The engine was miniscule, like a Morris Minor !
It's a microscope stage, and a bargain at £30.This popped up on eBay described as a vice.
It's an X-Y stage with Starrett micrometer positioners. No idea what it's for or what it might fit onto but for £30 delivered, I'm not going to worry about that yet!
