Ronan didn't say where he was wearing the tin hat.Protection for ones cahonas ?
Does anyone bother with that for home use? Especially with flap disks, they're 100% indestructible.Check to see if they are still in date.
Problem is,you don’t know how second hand discs have been stored. For all you know they could have been lying in direct sunlight all their life. My body parts, and those around me a worth a lot more than a cheap, out of date disc. Nanny state that we live in, if ,God forbid, something did happen,I guarantee your insurance company would try and weasel their way out of any payment. IMHO, just not worth it...Does anyone bother with that for home use? Especially with flap disks, they're 100% indestructible.

Another old lappy, slightly upgraded from the one that's going in the workshop. This one will take its place as the standby and out-and-about jobby.
Accompanied by a punch set and popper studs for repairing bike jackets.
Accompanied by an AFR gauge set (inc LSU 4.9) made by 14point7 for the bikes, setting up of.

Looks like a well used Buck Folder you have there.
How can one be sure that anything you buy nowadays is fit for purpose, or how many years if its "possibly" new old stock, it has been stored ?
Price doesn't always indicate a bad deal, but improper use of a tool by an operator can result in damage to the consumable or injury to the user.
Are there sell or use by dates indicated on consumables sold here in the UK ?
All that I read in McAlpines post is "Under £1 each!", nothing about secondhand, or am I missing something ?
What us self employed guys have to pay in case we damage ourselvesInsurance, what's that?
Date is stamped into the central steel reinforcing ring where the nut tightens
Oh, and unfortunately the child is mine, I acquired “that” almost 3 years ago
Well if that is the case I am not worrying too much about the expiry of my Wurth flap discs.Date is stamped into the central steel reinforcing ring where the nut tightens
By any chance, are you related to this chap?
