Bargain.View attachment 195395 Picked up three large Stanley storage boxes £6 each from Halfools
Paid a lot more for mine
These stack well and don't pop open when dropped thanks to the catches

Just have to get to Hampshire and collect it.
An Oxfordshire phone number?Assuming this is 24v
Wouldn't something along these lines have been better in the winter weather?

Well spotted.An Oxfordshire phone number?
Do you drive the same waggon all the time?
Same unit, (hence why I carry a lot of gear), different trailers every day, anything from a 34’ flat to a 45’ fully steered double extender, and for carrying high loads we hire in one of these bad boys. 3 axled fully steered low-loader with drop-out neck and hydraulically adjustable ride height down to 300mm:

The problem with this is that when I hook up to it, running at 44 ton gross, I can only carry about 8 ton.

Cool, they had something like this to move the heavy military kit around. Some of the toys were 70 tons a piece. The Colonel mentioned something about exemptions for road transport but I was too busy being distracted
Is that a weight over the 5th wheel?
No, it’s a cover over the neck to keep prying eyes out, weights are for the really heavy folk that run at anything upwards of 150 ton. Known as ballasted tractors, they have a ballast box that fits over the 5th wheel that holds whatever amount of weight they need to maintain traction on the drive wheels, and trailers are connected with a heavy duty drawbar.
The heavy boys I had a spell with earlier this year run Mercedes Titans that can be configured as either a normal artic or a ballasted tractor for anything up to 500 ton gross. I had to load test all the lifting eyes on the ballast boxes with the Hiab and a load cell, and 10 ton on the cell barely lifted the corner of the box off the floor. The loaded boxes weighed about 40 ton .
I second this motionYou should post up some pics of some of the stuff you transport, that’s if you are allowed
You know us lot like that sort of stuff
Big sign saying “Danger” and “Must”
That only means one thing, send it immediately to me for evaluation
Could do with that to move some of my stuff aboutSame unit, (hence why I carry a lot of gear), different trailers every day, anything from a 34’ flat to a 45’ fully steered double extender, and for carrying high loads we hire in one of these bad boys. 3 axled fully steered low-loader with drop-out neck and hydraulically adjustable ride height down to 300mm:

And a bit of garage time starting to turn some dogs for it.
Knowing how Amazon package things, probably an SD card.
