No hands I'm afraid so I had some tentative plans for a rejuvenation pod.
What's that you may ask?
I've made it up but I can guarantee Musk jnr will be be behind it in about 15 years time.
So the arms will each dissappear into a sphere and lit on the inside, mounted on some sort of platform. Somewhere in between a Van de graaff generator and that thing Joe 90 used to get into.
If I haven't started doing anything with it in the next few months arther it's yours.
Interestingly the face is the same as that chap at the beginning of the Ridley Scott film Prometheus.

After a scrap yard root about today there was no way this was getting crushed...i will get next year out of this little baby and now sits in my house awaiting wife and her daily tool kit in the form of brillo and elbow grease and then me with black paint

I have been making garden stoneware as a job for 30 years, not the out of shape painted stuff you see at markets , more bird baths pots statues , couldnt find good mould makers so make my own using aircraft grade rubbers inc poly , so just like quality pieces , always on the look out for antique pots /broken damaged etc to mould .
find a piece ,spend anything up to a week doing the repairs , another week making a master mould, from that take a casting and continue then to make the working mould , so unfortuantly its a labour of love these days as the returns arent there , but still love it.

Cheap nasty cam-cover gasket decided it didn't like keeping the contents in after a mere few hundred miles, and it was a pig trying to get it to re-seal while I await the arrival of a couple of better ones.
To cheer me up I splashed out on new side cutters from CK, via the local farm supply store who stock a small but useful range of CK stuff. Problem with having an account there is it's too easy to just charge things to it, but meh, I needed a new pair after I'd stupidly cut something too hard with my old ones and dented their edge.

I prefer knipex but ck is good stuff and the cutting edges look to be quite narrow so will cut cable fairly easy when your doing a few hundred a day it makes all the difference

No, they didn't have the VDE ones, but I've no intention of cutting live 1000V cables, unless by accident or stupidity.
These were a bit not-cheap, and about twice what I wanted to pay but there was a cost/benefit tool justification process going on in my head that was resolved in a micro-second, once I felt them. Sex on a stick compared to my old ones.

If anybody has the small Weber,I recently scrapped mine but didn’t have the heart to throw away the stainless steel grid I made for it. Can be had for postage....

Happiness is a warm Brillo Pad.
The Hardly silencer, after I'd butchered the inside a bit, was making a good job of taking the output of the Delko downpipes, but there was an annoying blat from it above 4500 rpm, which got steadily more intense.
Looking more closely at the inside I realised there was a flat area at the end of the baffled section which was probably giving rise to a reflected wave, and in turn building up some constructive / destructive pressure waves inside the collector. Also, I realised that I'd inadvertently created a resonator chamber with the rear section of the collector and the front hollow of the silencer, that amounted to nearly a foot of uncontrolled effaboutedness (technical term).
I fashioned a cone to guide the gases into the silencer (actually, it was a cone from the Hardle guts that I'd thrown out), migged it into place and stuffed a couple of stainless steel pot scourers in the space.
Sounds much better, but need to see if the annoying blat is gone on the road.

I think the AA recently did a survey on the "smart" motorways and most people said they don't feel safe on them now that there's nowhere to go if you brake down!
I've found that the M25 from J16 to J21 is now much slower than before and I find there's a lot more stop start / heavy braking etc going on, but that's ok the cameras are working.....
