Yeah, I'm sure it isn't on upside down. The grinder is very high speed and I have a feeling it tightened up beyond the wratchet actions capability to loosen it. I understand your issue about finding the key when you need it, but I have mine taped lengthwise on the end of the cord, so I always unplug it before chainging blades; I do this with all similar power tools, just a good habit from back in my apprentice days and I still have all of my fingers.

So do the Bosch ones, I have never needed to use them though.

You sure you didn't put it on upside down ?

I have been using them for a long time, probably 10 years and still the original on one grinder and the only time I had a problem with them was when someone put one on upside down and I had to cut it off with another grinder. Fairly recently someone else put one on upside down but luckily I was there and saw it and was able to stop them before they used the grinder and I managed to knock it back off with a chisel.

Regarding the standard no moving parts simple ones, they do have a moving part, it is called the key. All fine and dandy if you always are in the workshop where you have a set place for the key but being out on a job moving around a fishing boat and constantly having to try and find the key can be a pain.

Shouldn't the pin spanner be cable tied to the plug in those circumstances

There is a small industrial yard near me. So good little units, 3 or 4 good skips.
So, I popped in, just to say hello and happy new year and see if the builder had any brick acid.
I was/ will use it in another Copper plating idea.



2 nailers. They may or not work.
If they do good, if not they will be scraped.



10 bags of scrap wood for either the fire pit or charcoal.



Unknown make of rechargeable Jig Saw. It works, just need to find what style blades are needed.

Tbh I use my Stihl saw over my 9inch.

Shove a screwdriver in the lock hole and a 19mm on the nut.

I know where all my pin spanners are though

So do I, in the drawer in the workshop that I keep the grinding, cutting and flap discs in.
I also have a couple hung up on the wall behind my vice, it was just where I shoved them when I got new grinders
They never move as I don't need them

The_Yellow_Ardvark just made me chuckle regarding skip diving, when ever fathers with me it reminds me of the the shawshank redemtion ending when red opens the envelope and see's the money, father always looks around as he cant believe people throw good stuff away

They are indeed, I already have one.
I even went to the expense of buy a new Velcro pad for it.
