I've nearly got all the bits for the new jukebox. This is the second one I've built, the missus wants spotify on the one in the house. So I shall build another one up, this time with an rPi4, get it working with Rasp Spotify then swap it with the one in the house. I will then rebuild that one as it has some crud on it from when I first built it, and use it in the workshop.
rPi4 have micro HDMI connectors, while the older ones are full size. I ordered the mini-HDMI converter for my KVM switch in the workshop by mistake, I'll wait for the right one to arrive before starting the build.

I want an analogue clock for the kitchen, built into one of the new units. I also want one that keeps time, the current one is useless. So I've bought a small quartz clock movement with MSF time signal receiver, and a template to make my own clock face. About 15 quid including postage, but I could have probably go that down to just over 10 quid by waiting for delivery from China.

Aye, it's a frost-free fridge freezer too and we'll soon fill it up! The fridge freezer in the kitchen isn't frost-free and badly needs defrosting... and some of the plastic trays from the freezer replacing as they've broken when I've* tried to pull them out but they've been frozen in!
* Naturally, it is all my fault they broke but then only one of us actually does the cooking - the other is far more concerned about her horse's diet than ours...

Frost free are great, unfortunately the present one isn't - I must defrost our freezer soon!
My upright freezer is frost free, largely through not working properly. Unfortunately it's also front-free, as it fell off.
Luckily the the fridge section works fine, but when I opened the door last week it smelled awful. Not rancid, just stale. Then I remembered the last time I opened it - about four years ago.

I've spent the morning looking into Hifiberry and it sounds like exactly what I've been looking for, I'll probably order the Amp2 board when my student loan comes in, expect lots of questions.
Topped up the log store and the kindling boxes after chopping this lot up today. Also acquired a space in the greenhouse where it was all stored, and acquired a nice bucket of sawdust in the process
. The downside is that as I'm currently battling with a serious chest infection, I'm now completely shattered. And my nice lady Doctor who diagnosed me yesterday and told me to get plenty of rest would be a mite annoyed with me 
.
