My portion, just the heavy bits not voluminous bits of the lorry's load
A free forklift
No @8ob's just friendly and the container was someone else's he was hauling down here. Unfortunately they spent about a day and a half figuring out how to fit everything inside the container because they'd be overheight otherwise. So we had to play tetris / jenga getting everything out. All very neatly packaged inside but was fun offloading things but a combination of my JCB 2CX and @8ob's HIAB we got things done.Wait a minute, wait a minute,
at first I thought you were acquiring a 20' container for storage, as I like to do - but now:
You have haulers who strap a sea container to a flatbed truck with tie-down straps and use it to haul heavy cargo? As a business?
Really?
Interesting ....

A bloody big lorry on my drive
My portion, just the heavy bits not voluminous bits of the lorry's load
A free forklift
A pair of gennies from Bob's mate
And some small beams for the garage

Depends on how many acres they're covering, but sounds steep! And I'd have thought diesel consumption would have been a primary concern. Everything is so dry and hard though. And the worry would be that the autumn comes in fast and wet.Farm down by us, a month ahead of schedule and spending £1000 a day on tips/wear parts. If you're ahead wouldnt you just wait for the ground to soften?
Newarc is decent gear. Had a 250a mig for years, the tig/mma gear is used on site lot, @Jim Davey knows a bit about them.Got back from holiday to find my arc air torch and some carbons to go along with this cheap welder I picked up at an auction. Its a bit of a revelation... Never gouged with carbons before, but it washes off welds super quickly and super cleanly. Love it.
Not sure if the welder will last, but if it dies I'll probably replace it with a DC transformer.

Would you have links? - my knipex ones have gone missing yesterday and went looking for some Irwin ones I had and can't find those eitherI bought some Piergiacomi side cutters a couple of years ago. They are excellent quality for £6.50 but I'm always looking for them, so I bought a couple more pairs so I can have a pair in the workshop, another in my office where I tend to do smaller electrickery stuff, and one in my mobile tool box.

I spotted they make tweezers too. My current ones are made of cheese and the tips bend, these seem a lot better, £16 for the set of four.

At £6.50 I would get a couple and not be too miffed that as soon as they arrive I will find the others... Those tweezers look good too!
Here's the cutters
and the tweezers

The Draftsman set?I think that would make a very nice gift set with some care and elbow grease.
