That's not even half filled.
Where I stood to take the photo, the TVR is parked, and across the back of the TVR (just inside the roller door) is the Honda - which you have to climb over to get past the TVR
Chuck in a petrol lawnmower, some trip-hazard trolley jacks and an Oxford MIG set...
At least the carpet tiles went: replaced by some of that inch-thick mesh rubber matting which is the most stupid thing ever devised for a workshop as everything you drop gets lost in the gaps, which are also cunningly designed to catch razor-sharp turnings and milling swarf...

I don't think the side door has been open in 10 years, it's deliberately obstructed to hamper the light-fingered ones.
Moving around in there does require a bit of gymnastics... you have to skip a light fandango and turn cartwheels 'cross the floor

MIG set hiding behind propane bottle. Workmate cunningly positioned to kneecap you as you squeeze between the Perrin and the corner of the TVR. Chinese takeaway containers to hold all those odds and ends that you'll get round to sorting into proper order one day
Optrel helmet positioned to catch the sun to keep the batteries charged - it must be nearly 20 years old now.

Yeah, as mentioned in the earlier post. The VSL came out of a school in Retford in 2007/8 and was on Ebay. The seller's mate worked at the school and when he heard they were selling off the machines he approached the Head who said they would rather sell the whole lot in one go. So he bought several Boxies, couple of mills etc. and kept one (a BUD as far as I recall, not even one of the top spec ones!) and sold the rest.Looks like you've upgraded to a Boxford VSL.
He had two VSLs and the first went for £1800. At the time a mint AUD was under £1000, I think I paid £700 for the one in the pic further up, so although it was a tidy VSL I didn't think it was THAT good! A read-up on lathes.co.uk got me thinking that a VSL would be nice but could I really justify the expense?
So I set up my sniping software to stick a bid in on his second VSL of about £1050 and bu993r me, I got it for £800. Sold the AUD for £750 I think so it was a cheap upgrade - and VSLs are £ouch nowadays.
