Drop a V8 into it sortedI've always fancied a Citroen H van, but then I look at the speedo that only goes up to 80 and that's km/h too. I'm not that patient yet.
If you can find one that hasn't been turned into a coffee dispenser.I've always fancied a Citroen H van, but then I look at the speedo that only goes up to 80 and that's km/h too. I'm not that patient yet.

I do, they only have three forward gears, they don't go very fast.I think that @Barking Mat has one.
Apparently nice is subjective like driving an Anderson shelter aroundThis:
Caught some thieves.
Just read Farsides post about fairy thieves, reminded me... Scroll back in time to early September, phonecall from father one morning fuming, some scum has stripped the doors, windscreen, bonnet, light clusters, seats, floor panels, glove box, dashboard etc etc etc from his beloved Citroen HY...www.mig-welding.co.uk
They do really nice body kits nowadays.

Me too but thats real madness at least the Unimog we would have chance of finding parts or making something else fit. What about an Alvis Stalwart ? I have always fancied one.
Like them too but very rareOne nobody has said is a Volvo sugga! Mega machine, not a truck only a 4x4 but still ace
There used to be one in a garden in Corby. Haven't been that way in a while so don't know if it's still there. It wasn't for sale.Like them too but very rare
I saw that, thought, very nice.
They were the first trucks I worked on. Great mechanically but the cabs rusted like crazy. Good luck finding a good one.ive been having similar thoughts about getting a classic truck for a while now... mine is slightly more mundane, but strangely much rarer. loads of aec matadors out there for sale, i want a ford d series 7.5t. i can only find 1 for sale in a reasonable price range, and it is not in reasonable condition....
The four cylinder one's are a bit gutless but the six cylinder one's go welli would even take one with a rotten cab, as long as it was complete and didn't spend the last decade with all the glass missing ruining the electrics and interior.
Interesting video, the "cor blimey guvnor" of the narration is the norm in these 50's videos.
