That's boring then. You can only drive it unladen without a hgv licence. Young lad down south got caught out a few years ago with an 8 leg foden, picked up a car he’d bought and got pulled on the way home, vehicle was classed as carrying goods so he ended up in court
Never lived until you’ve slipped off the rounded mudguard step in the wet and shredded your shin on the wheel stepRather than a Matador what about a Bedford RL ?
Mate drove them in RAF and said steering very heavy though
I very nearly bought one a few years ago part of me is glad I didn't part sorry I didntRather than a Matador what about a Bedford RL ?

Dad ran a pair of d series on recovery years ago, one with a hiab on, usually stacked 4 high, and a tractor unit with a home brewed spec lift, went all over the country with themive been having similar thoughts about getting a classic truck for a while now... mine is slightly more mundane, but strangely much rarer. loads of aec matadors out there for sale, i want a ford d series 7.5t. i can only find 1 for sale in a reasonable price range, and it is not in reasonable condition....
Would love a Scammell sadly too expensive
Just no use cant shift anything only waterWhy not a green goddess? One for sale in Wigan for 2.5k, needs a few little bits but not much
A VERY long way. I know there is a team around, that had a complete unit. Land rover, bike, goddess (x2) flat bed. the works. Fascinating story of moving water to contaminated areas in the event of a nuclear war.Just no use cant shift anything only water
Take the tanks out and make a camper. More useful than a matadorJust no use cant shift anything only water
