Ferguson plough spanner, Marked in inches on one side and centimetres on the other. For checking depth of ploughing.

Some of the jaw designs on those King Dick are interesting, I wonder why the angle is so sharp? Help for clearance in tight spots?

I have quite a few King Dick spanners but none with jaws with sharp angles.

Don't actually have any pics of the spanners i've used since the 1970's, The above one's all came from the carboots relatively recently!!

The adjustable is a students( 2ndary school) work piece, I remember making one in the late70s

I have a "blue point" ratchet spanner given to me around 1976 by a work colleague that was retiring. It still works fine, it was old then so not sure of it's actual age. I thing blue point were the original "snap on" tools?
I'll get a picture posted , maybe someone will recognise it.

The chunky spanner on the right is very similar to the type issued at the steel works when I was an apprentice 58 yeas ago, they were all "Snail Brand"
