Welding K1100 Cylinder Head

Finally got the Head skimmed and picked it up yesterday, also had the rocker cover machined off square with the head ready for the conversion plate.

You have 8 more valves than me.....

and me..... i would like to do a 16v one one day, but the heads are just so much more than the 8v ones..... I realise that in the grand scheme of things, the cost is completely irrelavent, but when i got my first one, id just bought a house, and the difference was reasonably significant when you could get a whole k100 engine for £50, but the 16v's were selling for £200, just couldnt justify the extra.....
