I was going to ask if @brewdexta could post the useful STL files for the drill holder and the torture test STL so we could compare how our printers perform. BUT I looked for the thread I created to post these into and I can't find it.
Has anyone book marked it by any chance?

Just pick a couple of key words you remember using, space after .co.uk and space between terms.

The drill bit stand is here, there's two version, I printed the one with solid sides. It could do with drill bit sizes adding, it does two sets of 1 to 10mm in 0.5mm steps. There are probably better ones out there https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1228618 I may try and add the sizes, or get the kids to do it for me!

Not that one Paul. That's well used so I started a seperate one where we started adding URL's mainly from thingiverse where we posted useful items we found.

I tried searching for digital caliper as I was looking for that bracket to print it but could not even locate the thread at all.

It was worth me checking though as I realised my Forum supporter had dropped of so I went and paid again.
I can't see that stopping me finding the topic though. I am pretty certain forum supporters are not given access to forums that members are not..

It's Bugging me now. But no that's not the one. It has loads of links to STL files in it. Sadly it won't search for STL as it says it's too short.

I never, I just looked at the thread when you posted that you had tried a search with STL but it was too short so I searched for .stl (like you did) and that came up in the search

Apart from adding drill sizes, I would print at probably 105% scaling. The holes are a gnats too small, probably just under 0.5mm on the 10mm drill holder.

Another fail print this morning...this one was more interesting than the usual stop/reset mid print. It was actually progressing quite well, almost the furthest the stomp rocket had got....then all of a sudden the stomp rocket got stomped, the extruder just drove straight down "stalling" the Z motors and making a right mess of the hot end. Needless to say an email was promptly sent to Prusa.

Doesn't look "sudden". Looks more like it stopped going up but carried on printing.

Can you drive your Z all the way up and down by hand freely??

Well that does sound like a swap repair to me,"send me a good one and I'll send this back"...

It is worth making sure the Z axis rail easily winds up to the top and back. Should be light finger pressure all the way. One of the comon problems with these types of frame is they can easily be slightly out of whack and the Z axis in particular tightens up over its full travel. Those top retaining brackets for the drive screws are a mixed blessing if they're slightly off.

Yes Z axis is lovely and smooth, I'm actually impressed with the quality, unfortunately it looks like I've been unlucky and this could just turn into them sending parts (starting at the cheapest) for me to try and determine whether it fixes it. I'll be sending it back before that happens too much.
