Only thing worse is having to stop the run to put out the fire before you've completed it!
There is simply no excuse for doing that, short of power failure!
I find it hard to concentrate on the weld though when there are a handful of people shouting at me that I'm on fire.
Guess I need to learn to block out background activity better?

Well....yes. But if you get weld burns from the U-V light, you are risking skin cancer. Even men from the north can get that. Just look at the sun bed victims.but always have burn scabs on my right lower arm but ime a man of the North and can take the pain
