What have you welded today??

Some kind of electrical starter, not sure on the application tbh, but required to be flame proof, water tested at 150psi after welding. Approximately weighing in at 980kg. 20 to fab and weld out using a MIG root with a 5mm 6013 cap.

Bit of a story to this, awhile ago I just pushed my slip rolls to one side and one of the feet snapped off the cast frame causing it to tip over and shatter into a load of bits... "Oh bother that's annoying" I said (or something similar).

So I'm currently making a replacement frame out of steel...

the locking latch on the gate,gate post has sagged over the years, not enough time to re do that at the moment,so having great difficulty getting the lock in, so off with one part and rewelded to align the holes,sorted

It leaked, have to try something else. What it wants is repairing from the inside with Tigerseal or something like that so the pressure is not trying to force it away, but it's too deep for me to get to the leak that way. Have to have another think. I could buy another one, but I'm tight & love a challenge.
