You could have had mine from my garden...Again, all I can say is my Hotpoint washer/never used dryer has been worth every penny it cost, having been perfectly suited to the task I have given it many, many times of producing clean, damp clothes
Although I didn't actually pay anything for it . . . just reclaimed it from my mates garden and let it dry off for a while before plugging it in.
As long as you never use the dryer it will continue to be perfect! It is the dryer part of the combination that causes all the problems!Again, all I can say is my Hotpoint washer/never used dryer has been worth every penny it cost, having been perfectly suited to the task I have given it many, many times of producing clean, damp clothes

Miele are designed to do do three loads a week for seven years before having a service. In practice that's nonsense. They're basically indestructible.I don't see anyone complaining about Miele washing machines (As you'd hope, given the price!).
Thermistor or thermocouple? Thermocouple wire really doesn't solder well, you'd be better off soldering an inch of copper wire to the PCB, then joining the TC to that with a crimp.A couple of years back maybe, the two wires to the bed thermistor came off the underside off of the Ultrabase pcb on my son's Anycubic i3 Mega printer.
I struggled with it then and the high temperature solder but managed to make it stick.
The joints came apart again yesterday.
I had a go earlier today and ended up using a mini gas torch and an 18W iron at the same time. Couldn't make it stick so smeared some Templars flux on. It flowed a treat. Thought I'd cracked it when the complete copper pad came off!
Lad's attempting to solder direct to the track now.

A wake up call Id say and too much going on in your head but luckily itll polish out if you only look at the other side!My car! I was out first this morning, pitch black and icy. Did the Dad thing and de-iced my lads car for him before he came out to go to work then did mine. Because of the 3rd car now I'm having to park on the lawn until we extend the drive somehow. Means a tight swing for me parking.
He and I sat whilst our cars warmed up a bit and he drove off. I'm sitting there cursing a tooth that's playing up in the cold air. I then reversed off the lawn, between SWMBO's car and the laurel bush. The car was a bit icy still. My rear vision was a bit impaired. The car has perimeter alarms I might add they were warbling. Somehow I thought the alarm was from the front as I was swinging past the back end of SWMBO's. Concentrating on that I barely felt it as I hit the corner of the brick gate pillar. I couldn't have done it "better". Bumper, rear quarter and arch liner I think:
I don't know what's upset me more, the car or the pillar that my lad and I built together. Can't assess the damage to that until I look closely later.
A senior moment, the toothache, too much going on in my head? More likely a wake up call.
Ive found sometimes with our starlink, it kind of shuts down to protect its self after a surge/ power outage. I assume youve tried to power off and restart it.Starlink. The upfront 30mA house trip went last night but the UPS maintained the Starlink.
Then this morning saying connected but no internet.
My money is on a mouse / rat having chewed the cable where I I routed it through a crawl space in the loft. Tbh just a short length was exposed. I won't know for sure until I crawl back down there. Not until I'm over this man flu!
The Facebook group for starlink, is very useful for help, they have a cable testing tool I think tooStill got a broken Starlink I checked the cable from dish to router. I was expecting vermin damage but nothing.

I had to squeeze along the eaves. All ratshit, wasp nests and sticky out sharp bolts. I seem to recall it was easier 4 stone ago!
