Back in the late 70s a workmate had just bought a 1/2” drive breaker bar that I borrowed to undo a ball joint nut on a VW type3 that broke , he hadn’t even used it. The best part was the Snap On van was still in the car park!Broke my 3/4 drive, Snap On , breaker bar head. Was only using the correct 40 inch handle, honest

Needless to say, 'management' is not happy
It's a Cooke and Lewis worktop, about 6yrs old, what's the chances of finding another to match, really don't fancy replacing all of the worktops to keep the peace!
If the burn doesn't go too deep, could you just sand it out?I am officially a bell end

He'd probably find it quicker to clamp the knife in the vice and impale himself on it!Personally I find it much quicker to clamp the knife in a vice and batter the edge with a suitable hammer until it's properly blunt.
