What's your longest running project?

God, which one is the longest? Good question. We have 15 classic tractors, two classic combines and a few rarity implements in the barn all of which need varying levels of attention, all bought as projects but some nevertheless in everyday use. … the one which has been in pieces the longest and which was probably bought first of the ones I now have is a Leyland 2100 … must be 15 years or more. Gilbern Invader Mk3 and RD400 both in pieces from roughly the same time, possibly a bit more recently. DB 1690 T more recently pulled apart

We never did finish the Fowler BB1 Ploughing engine jigsaw we bought , someone came along and offered me stupid money for it. Sooooooooo wish I’d said no.

Oh yes, and the house, replacing the windows I installed new 20 odd years ago before the rest is complete.

Just past 11 years on my Mazda - I know it’s 11 as I bought it while on Honeymoon.... which went down a treat. Although we are still married so can’t have been that bad. Although it’s far from finished I have spent much time over the years getting parts and doing bits and pieces so it is far from idle.

If that's all you've got in 11 years, then all being well you should have it finished by Xmas 2200

Don't have any as of, 2018, did have a diesel generator I was building an enclosure for but change of circumstances meant I sold all those type of things so project free, unless you class the new house as a project just finishing installing a new kitchen
