Bought this ECU set up 20 years ago to drag the Viva kicking and screaming into the 21st century, Its only been out of the box to build the distributor up!

National HRO loverly receiver sold one 3 years ago with all the coil packs did a few mods it was an M type

It has been 35 year's my first car a vw and still have it as a project. I have had other restoration vw cars since that have come and gone.

When lock down started I have started working on it again 3days a week.

I think it was one of the 1st, always liked Daves work he seemed to think outside the box and not afraid to try stuff!

I cant remember his name but Dave had the ideas and the nipper put them into action. They upgraded one of our ecu`s on a V8 three times to resolve issues, all for free, they are a good bunch.

Had owned and been building this for 18years.
‘79 Opel kadett
Got it to 98% dry built but it wasn’t getting finished.
Finally let it go to someone who will finish it and take it tarmac rallying in Ireland, where it really should be

Where to start ?

Longest ongoing project, 22 years, Commer TS3 horsebox, got mot'd 20 years ago then I pulled out the six cylinder petrol, found a TS3 and a six speed overdrive gearbox.

Then just as that was nearly finished bought a boat. D'oh....

Then a house.... To renovate, then a farm house....

Plus over the years, various vehicles and old industrial equipment, etc, etc, etc....

I don't know if I ever actually finish anything.

Just like having loads of projects to amuse me. And infuriate me.

Sorry, I never got back to this. I'll sort out a build thread in the coming week or so.
