as an apprentice armature winder could nt help but take the rip out of one of the older fitter apprentice , got him to set the starter of a motor to be tested on box with power leads coming from above , and motor on the floor , I had convinced him electricity runs much better in a slow down hill slope , so we had a nice few yards of cable stretched out hanging in a nice fashion...at this the manager walks out ,Jeffrie what the *** hell are you doing ....well Sir xxx told me that electric runs better on a down hill slope..now bare in mind I was just first year and Jeffries was last year apprentice, manager just put his arms up in the air , few profanities ,what the hell am I dealing with here....glanced over at me and just shook his head, walked back in the office , he was a bloody good manager one hell of a guy.In a normal size battery they just shovel the volts in, the smaller ones have the volts flat-packed
