I got some 5l tins of NAPA cleaner from ebay recently, similar deal to above.

Acetone hasn't gone up as much in price as brake cleaner for some reason. In fact I found 5l for £17 delivered last week... cheaper than brake cleaner for once!

It has gone up massively, I had been paying £7 for 5L for years, bought a few cans last week almost double now.

Double that now, cheapest I can find on ebay is 65 quid for 20 litres.

Unless there is a saving buying in 20-25-30L then I'd rather have 5L cans, much easier to deal with.

Would the seals and bottle handle kerosene OK?

Kero is evil stuff for seals dont run it through petrol or diesel pumps

Works use Wurth, they get it in the 1 litre plastic containers, think it comes up at just under a fiver plus vat.

Just called the place I got it from, £58.65 inc VAT. They have been consistantly much cheaper than euro car parts and ebay for the last 3 years, I guess that's over. I'll use what I have left sparingly.

6 months is a long time in @#£%^ Britain.

Try buying a box of 32 crisps from farm foods. £4.42 they were last time I got them for my Dad. Last week they were £6.99.

The biggest problem I can see is many people just don't realise that the Bank of England push the interest rates up to deliberately ensure lots of people with mortgage debt loose all their disposable income.
Problem is only 1/3rd of of those are currently caught out. But within 2 years many many more will get pulled into the trap.

People with businesses actually suffer as much if not more in that many use credit cards/loans/ rent to run the business. Their customers can no longer buy/pay for their products.

Workers are laid of or sacked or stuck on Zero hours contracts.

The main winners are those without debt or mortgages. AND Banks who we the public bailed out. Now we are going to struggle they will be laughing at us and creaming it in.
