The best ready made pizzas I've found are from Aldi. Chilled not frozen. squirt over some olive oil and bang in the oven.

But the best way to have pizza at home is to make it yourself. Make your own dough and let it rise in the fridge for 24h. Make your own sauce. Lay the dough onto your sheet (don't forget to grease your sheet first) and stretch it out for a thin base. Add your toppings - use buffalo mozzarella and tear it into chunks. A bit of salt and a splash of olive oil. Preheat oven to the hottest setting (250 ish in my case). 8-10 mins and you're done.

The second best way to have pizza at home is to buy pre made pizza dough (don't forget to stretch it out). Use bottled pasta sauce and add a very generous amount of tomato puree. Everything else above stays the same. This is much quicker for when you're in a hurry or haven't pre planned.

Either way you're guaranteed a crispy base which is soft in the middle.

turning down or off the fan oven is key, fan ovens burn most things and especially pizzas.

Interesting - mine are done in a fan oven, and the only one I've ever had trouble with is a Tesco pizza that would have started out quite expensive but was on the clearance shelf a few weeks back. All the rest, I just know that if it says something like "11-13 minutes", I go for the lower option. Look like I'll have to experiment a bit.

I sometimes pre-warm them in the microwave; just getting them short of the melting point of the cheese before going in the fan oven.

I'm planning to go there in order to find a puppy of staffordshire bull terrier ( blue ) , impossible to find here around . Nearest staffy breeders are in Venice and Florence but not blue ones from them .

People disappears because of pigs or because of Anonima Sarda , isn't it ? The italian singer Fabrizio De Andre has been kidnapped by them decades ago right ?

Yes it's a beautiful place , I don't like 'party places' like Porto Cervo , but the island is really a paradise , a beautiful sea also , I was considering to have tour guided ride there with my dirt bike but I don't have enough time.

Pigs aren't only related to anonima sequestri , other bad guys used and still use this method .
Too many people unfortunately have been kidnapped over here.
They once even sent UN over here to save someone...
Shepards had to save UN soldiers because they lost in the mountains.
Anyway there are a lot of wonderful places to visit if you come over here .
Sea in Cagliari isn't great, Solanas,Mari pintau,capo ferrato (where a military Heli have been shot down in the 90's) are very beautiful beaches

Spent the evening chipping off a aldi pizza that appears to have needed a tray under it rather than just slinging it on the oven rack. Dough had sagged about 6 inches below the rack and wrapped itself round each bar, cheese was hanging down from top shelf and pooling on the bottom of the oven.
The most annoying this is, this isn't the first time it's happened

I use this to cook pizzas.

Max size of about 12" diameter (which helps with the diet )

Heated base AND lid, which helps crisping up the cheese - works perfectly.

It was about £30 at "The Range" (I think).

I don't have an indoor oven - just an air fryer/instant pot, and this.

Iv always used a pizza tray from wilkos as had this happen before

We do this as well. I like the pepperoni one, then we put chorizo, sun dried tomatoes and mozzarella cheese balls on it, sometimes a bit of spinach as well. I love it!

Where one would drive one's petrol engined vehicle after checking under the bonnet for oil levels and then loading the boot with toilets in various colours. One the way you could stop at the chippy and get fish and chips or maybe a few bags of crisps from the petrol station, or even the railway station.
