Lol I only have ferrex.OK for Lidl Parkside but if anyone doesn't want to wait for me. £20 odd for the files though:
deWalt 18V DE9180 to use parkside x20
Model deWalt 18V DE9180 to use parkside x20 you will need this material: 4 male fastener 6.3 terminals for dewalt and parkside 4 screws 3mm X 16mm long 2 spring 5mm X 15mm long +/- for the side buttonscults3d.com
I think some of the German tool manufacturers have agreed a battery standard....
Anyone got a Parkside 20V battery shell going spare? I'm really wanting to do a design that'll take either battery and indeed have a cunning plan!
The easiest way to graft a Ferrex battery on is just print a female section and screw to the base of the existing battery shell. Bear in mind this is only a 2.0Ah Ferrex battery, a 4Ah will make for a very tall assembly. Seems a bit defeatist too.
I'll send one to you in the next few days, pm me your address. Are you interested in a BMS board?
I made an adaptor to fit Makita LXT batteries onto Bosch tools.
Then in a flash of inspiration I thought why not replace the battery with a wooden dowel. Rather handily a brush shaft is the same dia as a sub-c nicad cell so that what I used! @Onoff - maybe that would work in the dewalt tower battery?
