i do seem to remember there being a blocked nozzle clearing procedure in the instructionsYou'd need to be up at 270-280 to soften the ptfe enough to immediately distort it, probably just got some plastic burnt on inside it that needs cleaning out, or just swap the tube.

Thanks for that. That was my thoughts also...i just needed speed. I cant seem to find a shop i can walk in and buy ANYTHING for 3D printing. LolIt may appear a bit money wasting, but after trying the nozzle, and ptfe tube clearing, I found it a lot easier just to replace them. In fact, with my CTC printer, I just built up 3-4 nozzle, block, and tube spares units. If they ever block up, I just change the whole unit over. I can then build up new units out of the useable old bits.
Life’s too short to be frugal over these parts.
That was my issue. I do have a few spares but they did not improve things immediately. So i need to establish the problem....having new parts but the wrong ones (nozzles) for example just compounds my issues. (My printer came with a bag of bits...lol^ only if you have them ready. If not clearing gets you running sooner and ukracer has no spares

True, but my nozzles are 100£ each and dual extruders makes a couple of hot push and cold pulls worth it
Mine is a Bowden drive.Nozzles and tubes can be a bit of a learning curve. I have a few I bought in the early days that are useless to my machine, but at the time I was sure they were the right ones. As to finding a proper shop, never mind a decent shop, well......
I can’t quite tell how the filiment is fed into the nozzle, but is the gear/hobbed bolt/thingy clean. Tiny, wee bits of filament in the grooves can affect the feed quite dramatically. And no, you don’t always hear the clicking as the gear slips on the filament, not until the clogging gets too much.
why are they that expensive??True, but my nozzles are 100£ each (+ VAT) and dual extruders makes a couple of hot push and cold pulls worth it
what on earth do you print with that thing..?
