Open it in Cura and play with the settings, the design has unsupported edges so you would need Support enabled, I would be tempted to redesign it so that the support was inbuilt and easily removable when done.

I did try that but when i switch to gcode tab all i see is gcode when i need an animated model layer by layer.
I saw a video on simplify3d and it shows it exactly what i need. It looks like a future purchace when i get back home to sell something to fund it.
In the mean time i will lower my expectations of 3d printing. It really is a way bigger learning curve than i could ever imagine. Lol
As for redesigning it....well that day seems much further off than i could ever imagine sadly.

Generate the gcode
Then open gcode using Cura as said before
Dont suppose anyone knows of a video that shows how to do that?
Is that in the design software such as fusion?

Seems like an easier version of cura but i need to check out that part.

However this video shows it doing that from the stl file (i think) lolhttps://youtu.be/9coPHC04QZwAh ah thats why i thought i had seen it in cura. It does not appear until i generate gcode. I was assuming it should show it after i open an stl file.
bit more infor for any one following the thread. It appears the earlier versions of cura have the ability to see and adjust paths with stl file loaded. version 15.02
I am guessing the later version must have it but its turned off until you find out how to turn it on. lol my latest version is 3.4.1 which sort of threw me until I rememembers programers are anal when it comes to numbering programs.
