I can’t put my finger on it? All I can think is, it is because the clear is still new. It worked before. I watched a few videos. Some people are sanding the whole panel and some aren’t. All those that are sanding the whole panel are using that clear basecoat. That’s something I’m going to have to buy. The metallic is being sprayed on to something that is still wet. That is supposed to hide the dry edge that I got. Other people are sanding an area, spraying basecoat within the sanded area. Then clearing so it overlaps the sanded area on to the unsanded area. Then they use cans of blending thinners as one guy called it. Basically the Pro XL Pro blend can I have. I would be using that over the edge but the can is too many years old and it squirts out like a hose instead of spraying. I’ll be buying clear basecoat and maybe the blending thinners too. Everyone else is using these products that I didn’t use. So now I’ll buy something extra and try again. Thanks.must be doing something very wrong , grey scotch pad /1200 /1000 should be fine , people are doing all day every day , some even use 800
