The customer came up with and implemented this type of lining. These are aluminum strips woven like a wooden fence made of rods. It really looks impressive)

If you choose a bi-fold gate of the Book/Accordion type for yourself, then this already indicates that you do not have enough space in the width of the yard. Because the wicket is usually easier to make separately and then there will be guaranteed no threshold.
However, we are talking about such conditions when it is necessary to make the door directly into the sash. Fortunately, book-type gates allow you to do this, unlike roll-up gates.
In the video, I showed 4 different approaches to solving the problem of arranging a door without a threshold.
And especially for my haters, I will say - some doors are equipped with photocells for safety.
I apologize - I only suggest mechanisms for building a bi-fold gate. How exactly to build and whether to install security elements is decided by the customers, since they are the ones who build these gates themselves.
