When they can get a plumber around to fix the valve. Well 3 plumbers . 1 to look at the job ,suck his teeth and criticize the bloke who installed it .2 one who promises to do the job and doesn't turn up and 3 one who turns up without the correct spanner has to go back to the shop and will be back tomorrow. Turns up the following week and gives the offending valve a whack with the aforesaid spanner with one hand and an eyewatering bill with the other hand at the same time asking for a glowing report on Trustatrader. I'm trying to work out whether the pollution caused by the starship at launch is more than offset by the 100+ people who will leave the planet to go to mars.

Surely the 100+ people plus their descendents over all their lifetimes would create more pollution on earth if they stayed Vs the rocket?

Well, the rocket is powered by oxygen and methane. Both supplied by fossil fuel, but could be sourced from methane captured from the atmosphere, powered by solar panels. Musk was pushing that idea, but the amount of land he had to cover was more than he had beside the site. So he paused that plan.
