Titanium is a sod to machine.
I once made some 4mm parts in Gr5 with a grooved profile in the middle.
It has to be super rigid. Like stainless you can't wait around, you need to good tool pressure. If you hang around, it work hardens.
Chatter can be a nightmare with it.
Powder metal taps are usually more effective.
Thread milling is better again.
