It's exciting. And interestingly enough, a feature. What is the "exciting feature"?
Edge of my seat, here. It's exciting. And interestingly enough, a feature.
Or, to put it another way. A feature, that's, in context, exciting.
If it doesn't then I'll recook the frame and overcompensate a lot more.Certainty seemed easy to clamp in place. I've gone slightly the other way, hopefully that's going to spring back to perfect.
I'm no expert but I thought the desired shape change needs to be forced while it is in the steam? I.e. don't you need to have it on your jig in the steamer? If it doesn't then I'll recook the frame and overcompensate a lot more.
Ah. Ok. I stand corrected. I always had it in my head that boatbuilders bent the wood in the steam but I think that was just my incorrect assumption! No, the steam softens the fibres of the wood, then you set it in the jig and let it cool / dry.
Thanks, she's been very supportive, doesn't understand it, who does, but he's doing what she can.Sorry to hear about the BD . Hope the 'management' have been understanding
