bolts holding your wood to the outside frame and smaller bolts from your wood so that they could hold your insulation would have given you a barrier break

That's not an option where the inner panels bolt to the frame, but I'm going to do that where the design doesn't call for bash panels.

Of course, no choice in some places, bar I sleeve every bolt.

Before I slab the other end, I have to build some support brackets. Strong is the requirement.

I'll paint them up in the morning. Done enough for one day.

Do the bolts go through the plasterboard to the outside? if so you may find they get very cold in winter causing cold spots inside and condensate

Sleeving with heat shrink and a nylon washer should mitigate most of the condensate. So I'll do that.

The sheet dropped. I forgot to cut some bolts and the measurements were all a bit out.

Still I should be able to get it to sit nicely.....

That's okay. Considering. Now to do the other half. Without making the same, or new, mistakes.....

I'll have to do a few more repairs than I'd like, but no big deal.

We tried. Unfortunately she's too light to put enough weight on the plywood. So the brace shifted a bit when I was drilling. All sorted now, and I've glued a spare bit of ply in the gap. Hopefully I'll get a bit more done during the week, but will be working on other things next weekend.

My measurements were out. I forgot to take account of the starting gap.

Rather than re do the plywood a third time I remembered I've a dowel set, so I dowelled a bit in. Should work.

Getting the groves for the bracing around the window was intricate, but went well.

Only one more full slab to go, then I've to get the inner doors done before I can do the last bits.
