The missing corner panel had been filled, drilled, sanded and painted. I'll do a second coat tonight and aim to fit tomorrow. And fit all the remaining screws.
In the meantime lots of electrical stuff has started arriving.
It's tightened up the corner slabs, so a gap has appeared in the very corner singing I was hoping to avoid. No problem, I used a tiny paint brush to fill with gap caulk. A dab of paint and it will be done.
So next job should be doing over the door, but I'd rather do the electrics now. Tomorrow, weather permitting, I'll work on getting power and ethernet from the CU to the hookup unit, and then to the first bit of conduct.
20mm dia SWA is a pig to work with, but probably worth it.
So far I've accessed the house, recessed it into the path and am on target to get to the hook up box location. Only one slab broken so far. But I suspect that was cracked already.
Done. Electric and ethernet at the hookup. And have also been told that the box of electrical stuff has started it's way here.
Tomorrow, I'll focus on making good, cement, maybe a bit of block paving etc. And refitting skirting boards, but doing it correctly, not like the previous owner of the house.
No photos of the cu as the professional who fitted it didn't to a very tidy job. Before me. What do you do when it's safe. But a mess. Such a mess that you are just adding to the chaos.
I resisted the temptation to redo the job, but it is on the little list of aroundtoit jobs for the next decade.
