Barras has decided that the box left for recycling is not going into the bin.
Bowes is watching on with serious box envy.

We used to do the same...upgraded it to a wood box that I made out of scrap and put an old blanket in it...he used to love it.Of late SWMBO cut a cardboard box in half and he's been sleeping in there if it
Look like he or she has a toupee too !
Bit late, but I feel for you. We lost ours in February and still miss him like crazy, despite me not really being a cat person. The place still feels empty, but can't bring ourselves to get another.A very sad week this week as on Wednesday we had to say goodbye to our beautiful 19½ year-old Bramble. I feel absolutely gutted and it still hasn't really sunk in: after 19 years of living with her it doesn't seem quite real that she's gone. I keep expecting to see her and keep thinking I've caught a glimpse of her out of the corner of my eye.
A few photos of her in memorium...
Enjoying my lap (she generally preferred Carolyn's, but occasionally she would deign to sit on me):

Her paws didn't get much use as she generally preferred them to be up in the air:
