Mine just checking the colour match of his new hiding spot
The worse thing possible after taking in a cat has happened - we are having to give him up after just two weeks. We love him to bits as he's perfect in every way but one - he attacks our other cats. The eldest is so scared that he now constantly hides under the bath (side panel missing) and rarely comes out. Heartbreaking. The 14 year old cat we recently took in had a stroke and had to be put down. We were devistated as we'd only had her for 7 weeks yet had already fallen in love with the little thing. Despite having four other cats, and two dogs, we decided that we'd give a home to another elderly cat so approached the local rescue charity. There were inundated with kittens so the older cats were being overlooked and invited us to see what was ready for rehoming. Instantly I fell for a 3 year old tabby and he's now home with us. He's been with the charity for 3 months and they were delighted he was finally getting a forever home. He's far younger than we were planning but hopefully we will have many happy years with him

) us to take on another cat which needs a home. They have a litter of juvenile kittens 4-5 months old which everybody overlooks as they are very shy with people but fine with other cats so we are going next week to have a look.
, and he wasn’t his usual ‘cheery’ self. Vet gave him antibiotics, and anti inflammatory injections, a course in antibiotics , and an appointment for tomorrow morning for a general anaesthetic, and poke about the paw. Verdict, probably an abscess, which may have been caused by a bite, or by an alien implant
.
They will check him Monday, and if they need to sedate him to clean out the paw, they will, otherwise, they will let nature take its course.
