Rare good photo of a black cat.
What a cracker
We picked ours up yesterday from the cattery, he’s been hiding all week pretending he’s shy(he’s had one to one for an hour a day from each staff member) I expected him to sulk and ignore us like my parents cat does when they go away
Within a split second of hearing us walking down the path he was squeaking loudly as if we hadn’t left him alone And the owner was laughing with us as he had wound them round his little paw!
On the upside I got to fuss a beautiful savannah cat and a stunning British short hair that was as wide as a spaniel!

They are expensive when they go wrong. Fortunately, he’s healed so well that no further action was required. In fact, the lodger’s paw is looking so good, he’s been beating up the auld yin all day.
Downside is that I got him to take his antibiotics by mixing them into some tuna. Apparently tuna is now expected to be on the menu for breakfast and supper.

I think it’s more to do with quantity. Too much fish in general can cause damage, but a teaspoon here and there, as long as their diet is otherwise balanced, isn't a problem.

The lodger always remind me of Mrs Doyle from Father Ted, that scene when she deliberately falls off the windowsill. He has all the the delicacy of an elephant ballet dancing.

I have a gf like that, she’s slim as hell yet stomps her feet
Trouble is we now have a 7 month old that thinks he’s a trainee race horse across the landing, I wouldn’t mind but it’s at 3am

I have a lodger.
Taken a few days and a few trips to the vet to get her sorted and safe.
She was found hiding in a neighbours shed. Dirty, matted, underweight, but with fantastic green eyes.
She was sedated so she could be cleaned and have an infected claw sorted. There is no chip to identify her.
That is her pretending to be asleep, but peaking.
It will be a few weeks before she is fit enough to be re-homed. Until then she has free bed and board.
The bed and cards are from the donation bin at the vets.
She does purr and does explore the house. She is house trained, she knows how to use the potty. But her paw is still tender.

That's pretty much how my parents ended up with their last cat (their shed not neighbours though). Oddly enough she looked almost exactly like that one too, especially when pretending to be asleep

Ours tries to help my gf type on her laptop when she works from home.
He doesn’t chase her fingers but slaps the keys!
