I met my neighbours cat again , well my shoe did ,had to use a bucket and dissinfectant, unfortuantly he is a dedicated killer, we have had to wrap weld mesh around the bird bath to let them drink, he was decimating the blue tits and black birds , found part of a field mouse today ...cats....had a blackbird that used to go up on the dead branch and sing its heart out every evening, fabulous, well it was ,found the remains in my field.

Friday night the ‘Lodger’ brought in another ‘Ood’, and promptly lost it in the bedroom.

Saturday, we both had a look, but the Ood was too well hidden.

Sunday night, just about to turn in for the night, when out of the corner of my eye, I caught movement by the doors into the conservatory. Mousie was taking a tour of the livingroom. Toby, aka ‘the pensioner’, noticed said Ood, and wandered over, I quickly grabbed a glass off the table, but by the time I got passed the meandering Toby, the mouse had diverted to the coffee table.

I chased that mousie around the table 3 times, while ‘the pensioner’ plonked his bum down next to the table, put paw to forehead to shade his eyes, and gazed towards the outer limits of the room for said ‘Ood’. Meanwhile, 3 times said ‘Ood’ stopped next to him, so close, the mousie could have tapped him on the paw, and asked Toby for directions to the exit.

Then, with a quick body swerve, the mousie disappeared.

At midnight, the sound of furniture being tossed around the bedroom wakened me from my slumber, only for me to see the ‘Lodger’ chasing his mousie around the room........again.

Finally I caught the ‘Ood’, and let him loose in the back garden, while the Lodger was looking the other way. Toby had wandered out too, with absolutely no idea where who or what was going on, but he wasn’t prepared to miss it anyway.

One more Ood saved.

always found a little bit of lead behind the ears seem to quiet them down.
thats what I said to my former neighbour who had cats. really came the reply.
not realising from an air rifle. lol
I could hurt any animals now gave up guns years ago and took up motorcycle riding.
I enjoy that more.
alway thought that cat has no affection only when it feels like it.
but after watching quite a few you tubes. there are some really affectionate cats.
some cats are so in love with their owners.

Sadly, no, but I deeply relate and empathise to the many that died during David Tennant’s tenancy as Doctor Who.

As a multi cat owner, I recognise that the red eyed ones are included and not optional.
