Nextdoor had a cat, scared all the birds away and shat in everybodies garden but hers

They do...they do . We had a special dawn chorus the day after our last cat snuffed it .

This is Cedric, so named because he looks like a Cedric. Note hair parting, no doubt centre parted and flattened down with a licked palm by his mammy.

He (or she, haven’t checked yet) is the Lodgers new pal, who sits outside and shouts on him whenever the Lodger dashes home for a quick snack, before heading out to play again.

The Lodger invited him in to the house yesterday, for the cat equivalent of a jammy piece, but Cedric is still a wee bit shy.

Too hot and dry for those in the day, they start appearing late in evening. In the day we get horse flies and the like instead...

And yeah he's a very chill cat.

The local council seemed to think all the pavements in our area need a tar coating.
Consequently one of our cats, the don't touch me, Burmese one, walked through it while it was still wet.
Tar on some of her belly fur, but worst of all, up between all of her toes.
We had not a chance in hell of cleaning her up.
Off to the vets you go.
They sent her home again, with an appointment for the next morning, to be sedated, and cleaned up.
The clean up was a success, though it took a few hours.
Her feet do look funny though.
Some of the fur trimmed short, her nails trimmed, you can see her 'fingers' are more defined now I shouldn't laugh but I'm going too.
She seems no worse of the event.

I think our cat is suicidal.

In the past 24 hours it has been removed from the tumble dryer, dish washer and now the beer fridge.

Christmas came early the other day for Grizzle. A pot of cream fell out of the fridge and landed on the floor. Wife wasn't very pleased with herself but luckily Grizzle was on 'paw' to help clean the mess and he was delighted with the result.

Beer fridge - not so stupid then. You need to train it to 'fetch' for you, like some owners do with their dogs.

"Train" a cat?? They'll look at you and think "Fetch your own fatso!!" They'll then clean their bum just to get the message home.
