Whilst we were out for three hours he's managed to get things out , have a fight with them & the bed and exhausted has fallen fast asleep .

Could have been worse, you could have had Amber Heard as a house guest!

Sat as I was with my morning coffee, ours got off from a chair onto my lap earlier for a cuddle. The coffee did it's thing and I paid a visit to the smallest room. A few pounds lighter I sat down with coffee number 2 and he just brought me breakfast to go with it. A live, uninjured and just a bit mouthed shrew/vole. Told him he was a good boy and to drop it, which he did. It shot off and is now somewhere in the house.

Back on my lap for more cuddles, he's just gone out the cat flap and I've seen him walking by. No doubt on a mission to clear the rest of the nest.

Yes, winter here in New Zealand, after a dry and warm start. I think the wind is coming straight from Antarctica.
Luna's sister Artemis has radar ears for the fire being put on, and lies in front of it at full stretch. We have occasionally had the smell of scorching fur over the years when the fire is really going and our fireplace cat of the time thinks it is getting just about warm enough...

My Oriental/siamese cats are indoor only which is abit of a shame tbh, but I don't trust them outside around here.

So I knocked up a little catio out the middle landing window out some scrap 2x3s and mesh.

Theyre enjoying it so much I think I'm going to have to extend it and add in ladders and shelves ect ..

• Since starting my laptop this morning the sound has not worked at all, causing issues with team meetings as I do not have a headset I can use. The sound worked yesterday without issue.
  I have checked the speakers were not muted, checked the correct audio output was selected, and restarted the laptop, but no luck in getting the sound back.
