Annual boosters for our 2 at the vet this morning, not looking forward to the wailing and howling in the car all the way there and back from the crazy Tom cat.

My ex still has my tomcat he was quiet in the car
My last cat was so funny she would do exactly as you said and howl at the top of her voice
I let her out of the basket one day and she stopped immediately and was more dog than cat looking out the windows

I was awoken in the early hours by Rory our kitten knocking over a pint of water at my bedside. Went over my head and chest and pillows. Not much fun after a hernia op yesterday jumping out of bed.

He's pawing my hand to carry on.
If he bites me I lift him up like a clingy cat kebab, growl and bite him back. Grab his spine with your free hand and he thinks he's being attacked from behind. Rarely happens now. I get a mouthful of hair but hey ho. He sleeps curled round my arm similar to this.
Night my dad died the cat lay on his back, looked up and me and stuck both paws gently either side of my face. Never done that before.

Patience indeed. We've noted how this cat waits in the exact same spot on an old concrete path in the garden that's slightly elevated from the lawn. There was no crossover between them so it can't have been learnt. Our old cat spent so much time sitting there, we buried her next to the path.

It's a hard life being a kitten: Rory was doing tree climbing today ( that was about 6 feet up), also explored a visitors car interior, I missed a photo of him on the seat of my new motorbike and Rory yawning makes him look like an Alien preditor .

Merle Dog came down the hallway at 0520 , nuzzled his wet nose to my face ,,, " Oh he wants to go out " , opened the door & he's off to his toilet area fairly quickly, popped hthe kettle on and he's back by the door accompanied by Jasper who had been out since 22,00 hrs
