When we first got Jasper he was 18 months old and still very feral , within minutes he'd jumped on the desk and christened the old keyboard and the towel I rest my forearms on .

That's why I'm typing on this new ADX 0419 gaming board as well as other reasons like better key function and a back lit key set that can be programmed into a single colour so long as the computer is switched on ( I'd love to set it up once and that be it instead of doing it at every start up ).

Mine is most put out I won't pick him up and cuddle him or let him on my lap. He knows I'm not well and the miaowing is pitiful as he tells everyone.

I just tell him he's basically a furry, Covid carrying tissue if I pick him up.

Won't even go for my ankles if bootless. They sense things for sure. I remember being laid up with whatever and the old dog would come and rest its head on the bed etc and look mournful with the then cat doing the same.

Perfect Trifecta this morning. Morning coffee, Buster, our stray that adopted us five years ago used the litter tray in the porch, all four paws in the tray, pee'd all over the floor. Kitchen roll in hand, PussPuss, another stray who adopted us last year, came in through chain fly screen with a smallish rat in her mouth, entrails hanging out. The rat got snagged in the fly screen, dripping blood over the screen and door step. PussPuss spat out the bile duct/gall bladder onto the door mat, dragged the rat off the screen and ate it head first. Then Buster had a dump, luckily in the tray.

My coffee was cold. Luckily SWMBO wasn't around.

I've now got full use of all my fingers on my left hand but there is still a small hard patch on the index finger tendon on the back of my hand where Jasper the cat bit me several months ago.
Thank goodness he's calming down now the weather has cooled and is becoming wet , he's even coming to me when I whistle him to be picked up for at least 10 seconds without attacking me or spitting & snarling at me .
