If you are worried you could take it apart when you get it and take the sizes off all the bearings for when they do explode.
If it's anything like the metabo ones you don't use much pressure so there should not be much side load although they do run at a fair old rate so I can't see cheap bearings lasting long.
My other concern is, being high speed pneumatic, you would presumably want an inline oiler and some cheap air tools are not that good at spiting all the oil back out of the exhaust even with a duct fitted.
Not sure if oil mist might cause some problems if using it for weld preps although I suppose for proper welding you would be cleaning up before welding anyway

It's not something that's screaming scam to me. I would be surprised if you did not get it arrive.
I had to drill some holes underwater on a boat a while back and didn't fancy getting any of my tools near salt water.

Banggood have just started listing 4" grinders that use Makita18v LXT batteries. Several sellers all priced around £45 but they should come down in price if you wait. The 4.5" grinders started out at £60 but I got one at £30 by being patient.
I'll buy one sometime, nearly all the wood carving carbide discs are made for the smaller M10 spindle on a 4" grinder.

Why not make a head to fit on a 4 or 5 inch grinder?
I might give it a go when I get my lathe back together.
